At what level of adventitious or technically unavoidable GMO content is it compulsory to indicate on the product's labelling and accompanying documentation that it contains GM organisms?

With relation to food and feed, Regulation 1829/2003/EC states that genetic modification must be indicated on the label if the GMO content is above 0.9% in cases where GMO content is adventitious or the result of technically unavoidable contamination. However, if this is not the case and the GM product contains GMOs intentionally or in a technically avoidable manner, the genetic modification must also be indicated at level below 0.9%
